Princess Zeina Rashid began her sporting journey at the age of eight, training in her parents’ garage. She went on to represent Jordan in table tennis at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games and 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, where she carried the national flag during the opening ceremony. Following her competitive career, she focused on the development of high-performance sport in Jordan. As a board member of the Jordan Olympic Committee, she founded and directed the country’s first High-Performance Program and Olympic Training Center, contributing to Team Jordan’s preparation for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, which marked the nation’s strongest Olympic performance to date. Since 2017, she has overseen the national taekwondo high-performance program, supporting continued success including a silver medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. She currently serves as Vice President of the Jordan Taekwondo Federation and Vice President of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF).

Parallel to her career in sport, Princess Zeina pursued her education in the United Kingdom, earning a BSc in Economics from Royal Holloway College, London University and an MSc in International Development from the London School of Economics.

Alongside this, Princess Zeina has pursued her passion for visual art as a self-taught painter. Working primarily in oil, her work includes portraits, landscapes, large-scale abstractions, and stone works. She later established the Art for Good Initiative, which supports philanthropic causes through art.

As her career in sport continues to evolve, so too does her practice as a painter. For Milano Cortina 2026, she contributed to a 148 sqm mural in Milan, initiated by TCL and the Olympic Museum and created in collaboration with mural artist Tirso Paz — Bublegum. Bringing the Winter Olympics into everyday city life, the mural reflects her lifelong connection between sport, art, and the Olympic spirit.
